The iAM NCC-HU program is an NSF (National Science Foundation) funded program for Pell-eligible students who have been accepted into one of five STEM (Biology, Computer Science, Engineering Science, Liberal Arts and Science-Math and Science, Math) AS degrees at Nassau Community College and plan to transfer to one of 25 STEM majors at Hofstra University.
The program provides scholarship support; participation in a summer undergraduate research project; support to improve math placement; membership in the iAM NCC-HU student club; as well as individualized course and program advisement, career and transfer mentoring, and student support services.Eligibility
NCC ID Number. If you have not applied to NCC, you must do so before completing this application. Visit ncc.edu/apply to apply for admission to NCC. Be sure to enroll in a STEM major (Biology, Computer Science, Engineering Science, Liberal Arts and Science: Mathematics and Science, or Mathematics) and check the box for the Joint Admissions Program with Hofstra University.
