INSTRUCTION FOR HIGH SCHOOL ENRICHMENT ADMISSION

It is encouraged students be 16 years old by the start of class. For all students 16 years or younger, please submit the required attached forms to admissions@ncc.edu once the application is submitted: Assumption of Risk AND Medical Release. (Both forms must be submitted within 48 business hours of being registered.)
Payment of a $55 non-refundable application must be made at the time of registration, if the student has not already applied and paid a previous application fee.
Students currently enrolled in high school will not be allowed to enroll in a session that runs concurrent to the final weeks of high school.
This application does not guarantee enrollment in a particular course. Enrollment is available if students meet the pre-requisite requirements and there is available space in the course.
This application is for high school enrichment only; students who wish to attend in the fall time should apply for admission for the appropriate application.
No financial assistance is available.

I declare that all statements made in this application are, to the best of my knowledge, true and correct. I understand that if I was born on or after January 1, 1957 and if I enroll for 6 or more chargeable credits, I must provide the College with proof of immunization against measles, mumps, and rubella. ALL students regardless of age who are enrolled for six or more credit hours must fill out the meningitis survey which is available through the Health Center. My failure to comply with this New York Sate law within 30 days from the start of the semester will result in my disenrollment from classes without refund of tuition and fees.

Students with overdue tuition and fees may be referred to a collection agency and will incur additional liabilities of up to 33% to cover all associated collection costs processes. Further, I understand that the College may have such default information forwarded to credit reporting agencies.

As the parent or guardian of the NCC High School Enrichment student, I understood and agreed with the requirements, limitations, and procedures of the Nassau Community College High School Enrichment Program. I also understand and agree with the creation of a permanent academic history and transcript at NCC for my child, the release of my child’s transcript to the high school until my child’s graduation, and the right of the college to notify me if my child becomes involved in any incident requiring disciplinary action. I also understand that some courses may deal with adult content subject matter. Furthermore, I accept full responsibility for all tuition and fees that result from my child’s registration in courses through the NCC High School Enrichment Program.
