25-26 Foundation Excellence Form

Nassau Community College’s Foundation Office will be awarding one scholarship to a deserving student from every high school in Nassau County enrolling to NCC in September of 2025. Eligible students must show a commitment to helping others in their school or community, and be an active leader within their school/local community. Annual scholarship awards range from $200-$1,600.

Criteria for student applicant:
1. Be a 2025 graduate from a Nassau County High School
2. Applied to Nassau Community College for Fall 2025
3. Must be a Nassau Country resident
4. Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 85 of higher
5. Be enrolled as a full-time student (minimum of 12 credits) each semester at NCC
6. Complete the form listed below by March 23, 2025.
7. Submit an essay (not to exceed two double-spaced typed pages) on one significant activity that shows evidence of leadership and demonstrates your commitment to the welfare of others in the community. Describe this activity and its impact on your life and the lives of others
8. Have a completed 2025-2026 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) on file with NCC by March 23, 2025. NCC’s school code is 002873

Applications must be received no later than March 23, 2025.
